finale

Congratulations Nick! The tribe has spoken and you are the sole survivor!

After surviving 39 days of intense heat, huge personalities, two Hidden Immunity Idols and countless votes, Todd Herzog, the 22-year-old flight attendant from Pleasant Grove, Utah, is voted the winner of SURVIVOR: CHINA.
Todd, who was once the founder of his high school Survivor Club and was voted "Most likely to appear on SURVIVOR,” has his dream come true as he proves worthy of the title of Sole Survivor. Controlling the game from its onset with his strategic moves and unparalleled passion for the game, Todd convinces the majority of the Jury to vote for him and is awarded the million-dollar prize!

Watch for the upcoming SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA, premiering Thursday, February 7 where super fans play against past favorite players.

week 11

The Tribe has spoken and Lauren is asked to leave the pool immediately.

On night 36, the final four is set when Peih-Gee Law, the 29-year-old jeweler from Marina Del Rey, California, is voted out of the game. Having been an underdog since the merge, Peih-Gee was perceived as a major threat to win the million dollars and therefore too dangerous for the old Fei Long members to keep in the game. When her torch is extinguished, she leaves the Tribal Council area and gives her final words: “I am glad that I played to my utmost. I pushed myself physically, mentally, strategically and ultimately everybody was scared to death to go against me in the final three. I am not going to be a millionaire, but I feel like I will walk away way richer than I was before I came in this game."

CBS announces 'Survivor: China' finale, reunion show to air Dec. 16

CBS has announced Survivor:China's two-hour finale broadcast will air on Sunday, December 16 at 8PM ET/PT.
The finale broadcast of the CBS reality competition series' fifteenth installment will immediately be followed by Survivor: China's live one-hour reunion special at 10PM ET (PT tape-delayed), which will mark the first time the show's 16 castaways will be together since filming the show over the summer. Survivor host Jeff Probst will helm the reunion show, which will take place at the network's CBS Television City studios in Los Angeles.

Similar to Survivor's last two finale broadcasts -- Fall 2006's Survivor: Cook Islands and Spring 2007's Survivor: Fiji -- Survivor: China will feature a jury of former castaways awarding the show's $1 million grand prize and title of "Ultimate Survivor" to one of the competition's three remaining finalists.

However unlike the finale broadcasts of Cook Islands and Fiji -- both of which began with five remaining castaways -- Survivor: China's finale broadcast will begin with four castaways still in the running to win the competition's grand prize.

Survivor: China will be the tenth-straight Survivor edition to feature a Sunday evening finale. The last Survivor edition to feature a Thursday evening three-hour finale broadcast was Survivor: Thailand on December 19, 2002.

Survivor: China premiered on September 20 and has averaged 14.4 million total viewers; a 4.7/13 rating/share in the Adults 18-49 demographic; as well as a 5.9/15 rating/share among Adults 25-54 in its Thursdays at 8PM ET/PT time period.

Week 10

The tribe has spoken and Christianne is asked to leave the pool immediately.

On night 30 at the most shocking Tribal Council to date, James Clement, the 30-year-old gravedigger from Lafayette, LA, was buried by his own alliance as they conspired to get rid of the Hidden Immunity Idols and vote him out of the game. James didn’t see the vote coming and chose not to play either of his two Hidden Immunity Idols. James left the game with both Hidden Idols and gave his final words: “I have the two Idols and I guess I should have played them. I am kind of disappointed in myself because I could have caught a feeling but I still didn’t do it. You can’t be angry with anybody because it’s a game and they played their best hand and they did what they were supposed to do. I rolled the dice too many times and I just got caught up.”

week 9

The tribe has spoken and Kim is asked to leave the pool immediatly.

On night 27 at a tense Tribal Council, Michael “Frosti” Zernow, the 20-year-old parkour athlete from Chicago, Illinois, can't twist his way out of jeopardy as he is voted out with seven votes against him. Frosti’s potential physical dominance along with his budding relationship with Courtney is reason enough for his tribe to turn against him. After having his torch snuffed at Tribal Council, the youngest Survivor ever gives his final words: “I expected some people to kind of backstab, but I didn’t expect it right now. I got beat by the tiny flight attendant, the sassy New York waitress and the lady with the mullet. I wanted to prove that somebody who is younger and smaller could come out here and do the same job that anyone else can do. And I have proved that.”

week 8

The tribe has spoken and Cara is asked to leave the pool immediately.

On night 24 at a shocking Tribal Council, 36-year-old professional poker player Jean-Robert Bellande is dealt his worst hand and is voted out of the game. After realizing James possesses two Hidden Immunity Idols, Jean-Robert’s plan to oust him backfires when the tribe turns against him and votes against old tribal lines. Jean-Robert becomes the ninth Survivor voted out and the second member of the Jury. After having his torch extinguished, he gives his final words. “I really loved the way I played this game. I pushed all in and it didn’t work out for me!”

week 7

The tribe has spoken. Maureen is asked to leave the pool immediately.

On night 21 at a tension-packed Tribal Council, Jaime Dugan, the 22-year-old college student from Columbia, South Carolina, is voted out of the newly merged tribe after she mistakenly believes she is in possession of a Hidden Immunity Idol. Jaime, handing a wooden plaque to Jeff Probst, anticipates having the Idol’s power save her from the vote. Instead, her hopes are extinguished when Jeff Probst tosses the wooden plaque aside, saying it is not a Hidden Immunity Idol. James and Todd are barely able to stifle their laughter at Jamie’s blunder, and she is subsequently voted out of the game in a 7-3 decision. After leaving Tribal Council, Jaime gives her final words. “I learned that I am probably too nice for the game of Survivor. I wish Erik and Peih-Gee the best of luck. I tried playing the Hidden Immunity Idol. It wasn’t it, but it was worth a shot, so I am glad I tried it.”

Best quote: Todd, playing along with Jaime and fully aware that James is already in possession of both idols, states, “Wow, does she have to catch up! She’s on the small bike in the back peddling as fast as she can!”

week 6

The tribe has spoken. Brandon is asked to leave the pool immediately.

When Fei Long revisits Tribal Council on day 18, Sherea Lloyd, the 26-year-old elementary school teacher from Atlanta, Georgia, is voted out of the game. After the recent tribal switch, a torn Fei Long is faced with the dilemma of trusting Sherea or eliminating the outspoken Jean-Robert. Courtney’s lobbying to get rid of her nemesis Jean-Robert falls on deaf ears as her tribe stays loyal and sends Sherea packing, five votes to two. She leaves behind her final words: "The fact that the Fei Long people decided to stick together because of numbers, you know, it just says that they’re getting played. They’ll realize it later and I hope half of them get screwed since some of them screwed me. They knew they couldn’t beat me in the challenges. I was the strong one. They were the weak ones. So of course they’re going to take out the threat."

Week 5

The tribe has spoken. Sandy and John are asked to leave the pool immediately.

A major twist shakes up the tribes and turns the game on its head for Aaron Reisberger, the 32-year-old surfing instructor from Venice, California. Plucked from the safety of the Fei Long tribe, Aaron’s brain and brawn is held against him as the Zhan Hu tribe takes control of his fate, purposefully throwing a challenge and voting out one of the strongest players in the game. Receiving the majority of votes, a shocked and disappointed Aaron leaves us his final words: "I had no idea that I would be going home tonight. I thought it was going to be James over me. I just wanted to say to James I had a great time stepping into battle with you, and I don’t know what’s going to happen to you, buddy. But I’d rather still be there on that island with those people even though I don’t like them anymore, than be here talking about it."

week 4

The tribe has spoken and Erin is asked to leave the pool immediately.

Returning to Tribal Council for the third time, the Zhan Hu tribe must decide who to vote out: Dave, the overbearing leader, or Sherea, who is not contributing around camp. While Sherea’s laziness grinds on the nerves of the tribe, they opt for peace as Dave Cruser, the 37-year-old Bartender from Simi Valley, California, is voted out of the game five votes to one. Hurt yet proud, Dave leaves his final words: "I gave it my all. Perhaps I gave it too much. I at least did it with conviction and integrity. I thought I was humble and I thought I listened. I wish that some people perhaps listened to me a bit more and I know that there are pieces of me that are worth a lot, perhaps even priceless. You know, if they can’t see that then, well, I can’t force them."

week 3

The Tribe has spoken and Brendan is asked to leave the pool immediately.

With their winning streak broken, the Fei Long tribe visits Tribal Council for the first time on day nine. With the fate of Jean-Robert and Leslie hanging in the balance, Leslie Nease, the 38-year-old Christian Radio Talk Show Host from Tega Cay, South Carolina, seals the deal as she glorifies the enemy tribe, Zhan Hu, by praising their team spirit and describing the bonds she made with fellow Christians. She thus makes her own tribe weary of her, causing them to vote her out. Smiling to the end, Leslie leaves with her final words: "I am so proud of myself. I had this dream. I chased the dream, and I would have liked to have been here longer, of course, but I always knew going into this game I would be here as long as God wanted me to be here. Apparently he’s ready for me to go home. I don’t understand why they voted me out but I really hope that my tribe made the right decision. It had to have been a tough one for them but I had a great time. I would do it again in a heartbeat."

week 2

The tribe has spoken: Dick is asked to leave the pool immediately.
Visiting Tribal Council for the second time in a row, the Zhan Hu tribe opts to vote out feisty Ashley Massaro over their outspoken leader, Dave, in hopes of achieving tribal harmony in camp. As the outspoken 28-year-old professional WWE Wrestler from East Northport, New York, departs Tribal Council, she can’t help but get the last word in to her nemesis Dave: "I’ll be seeing you soon." After having her torch extinguished, Ashley leaves us her final words. "Dave is going to show them the reason that he shouldn’t be in control, and I guarantee you that I see him on the flip side way sooner than he imagined. Dave… if I had one word to describe him, he’d be a tool because that is the perfect word for him. He’s a tool."

week 1

The Tribe has spoken: Karen R. is asked to leave the pool immediately.

The highly anticipated SURVIVOR: CHINA has begun. On night three, the journey ends for Steve "Chicken" Morris, the 47-year-old chicken farmer from Marion, Virginia. Stubborn and unable to coexist peacefully in his new tribe, he is the first person voted out of the game. After his torch is extinguished at Tribal Council, Chicken gives his final words. "It was kind of a shock that the young group didn’t come together. I don’t think they ever will. They’re just playing by the seat of their pants. It’s truly an honor to be here with out a doubt."
